A 31-member tourism delegation led by Lobsang Gyaljen, vice-chairman of the people's government of the Tibet Autonomous Region of China, arrived here Tuesday afternoon.
During their stay here, the delegation will meet with Nepali Prime Minister Surya Bahadur Thapa and Sarbendra Nath Sukla, minister of culture, tourism and civil aviation. They will discussthe cooperation between Tibet Autonomous Region and Nepal in the tourism sector.
An agreement on opening of two routes for tourism promotion between Nepal and the Tibet Autonomous Region will be discussed between the two sides during the visit.
