In the afternoon of December 26th, 2003 "2004' Beijing Love Tibet New Year Festival was held in Beijing Tibet Mansion. More than 150 delegates from 46 most important units concerning about Tibet, such as China Tibetology Research Center, Chinese Social Science Acadamy, Tibetology Institute of Central Nationality University Senior Institute of Buddhism of Tibetan Language, the Office of Tibet Autonomous Region in Bejing, Beijing Tibet Middle School, participated in it. Friend of 12 medias of Beijing and the aged leaders of Tibet Autonomous Region also joined in it.

This activity is sponsored by China Tibet Information Center and units concerning about Tibet in Beijing and this is the 3rd time. Its purpose is to propagandize Tibet and support for constructing the western part of China.

2004' Beijing Love Tibet New Year Festival is sponsored by China Tibet Information Center and Tibet Cultural and Ecnomic Intercourse Center. Tibet Photograph Exhibition attracted all the guests. An aged professor left these words: I love Tibet very much, however due to the poor health I haven't been able to go there. Today I can appreciate the beautiful tibetan landscape in Beijing. I appreciate you very much! I hope that in the future you will hold more exhibitions like this one.

At the beginning of the festival Wang Peijun, the chief of the section of Tibet of the 7th bureau of the News Office and Xue Ping, the chief of China Tibet Information Center gave speeches to the guests. The programs of singing and dancing of this festival were performed by people from Tibetology Institute of Central Nationality University, Beijing Tibet Middle School, China Tibet Information Center and Beijing Tibet Mansion. The excellent performances gained many applauses.

After the performances the guests began to enjoy the dilicious self-help Tibetan Food.

Songs expressed emotions, laughter transfered the friendship. Love Tibet New Year Festival bless Tibetan people for having good luck.
