Concise General History of Tibet

  Authored by Chabai Cedain Puncog, Norzang Wugyian and Puncog Cering, the General History of Tibet is widely considered to be of "high use and academic value." In 1993, it won the China State Book Award. For the convenience of readers, it was turned into a condensed copy. Published by the China Intercontinental Press, the book, running to 250,000 words, is priced at 35 Yuan per copy.

Research Into Modern Tibetan Events

  Authored by Xerab Nyima who has been engaged in Tibetan studies for decades, the book centers around hot spots much discussed internationally, including the fallacy that Tibet got divorced form China in 1912. The book explains with facts, bringing the status of Tibet during the period of the Republic of China (1912-1949). The book, running to 3 million words and priced at 33.5 Yuan, has been published by the Tibet People's Publishing House and the Shanghai Bookstore of the Centuries Publishing Group.

Tibetan Language Dictionary

  Compiled by Soinam Jamcun, the dictionary takes in 15,000 entries arranged in the order of Tibetan letters. They include idioms, proverbs, phrases and etc. Priced at 20 Yuan per copy, it has been published by the Tibet People's Publishing House.


Biography of King Gesar: Namru Jinze Zong (Tibetan)

  Compiled by Lhodan, this is a history book describing how King Gesar conquered Jinze Zong (County) ruled by Dalha Zyzhong, king of Namru, and his grandson Baima Dorje, in accordance with the order of the Goddess. For this purpose, King Gesar fought some 6 months. Priced at 8 Yuan per copy, the book has been published by the Tibet People's Publishing House.

  Authored by Lhobo Sangzhol, the book tells of scenic spots and places of historical interest in Tibet. Priced at 8.5 Yuan per copy, the book has been published by the Tibet People's Publishing House.

  Authored by Zhaxi, the book explains in great detail and in a scientific way the human body functions, causes for, diagnosis and treatment of illness, drugs and their variety, taste and dosage, etc. Priced at 8.5 Yuan per copy, the book has been published by the Tibet People's Publishing House.


Notes to Logic (Tibetan)

  Authored by Namren Ngawang Puncog, one of the most famous eminent monks of the Zhaibung Monastery (one of the three major monasteries in Lhasa), the book explains the major contents of the Logic. Priced at 28 Yuan per copy, the book has been published by the Tibet People's Publishing House.

Notes to Theory of Tibetan Literature (Tibetan)

  The book was produced on the basis of comparison of the Tibetan theory regard literature and theory on Chinese and foreign literature. Priced at 13 Yuan per copy, it has been published by the Tibet People's Publishing House.

Pagodas and Grottoes in Qinghai Monasteries

  The book, compiled with Peng Qisheng as the chief editor and Xie Zu and Pu Wencheng as deputy chief editors, collects 200 monasteries, pagodas and grottoes, all built before 1840. Priced at 38 Yuan per copy, the book, running to 350,000 words, has been published by the Qinghai People's Publishing House.
