Pasang Wangdu
Pasang Wangdu (Pawing for short), male, Tibetan, born in 1948, native
of Xigaze, currently director of the Institute of Nationalities
of the Tibetan Academy of Social Sciences, research fellow, has
been to eight European countries as a member of the Chinese Tibetan
Scholars Delegation in 1998.
A man of letters with 11 academic works and a dozen academic papers
has published since 1990. He made two lecture tours and carried
out academic studies in Europe, and his lectures on Tibetan studies
in China and his personal academic works between October 1993 and
April 1994 and between April and October 1995. His lectures at the
College of France, Vienna University of Austria and the Institute
of Buddhism and Tibetan Studies of the Austrian Academy of Science
won acclaim and widespread attention in institutions of higher learning
and research institutes in Buddhism and Tibetan studies in France
and Austria.

Tenzinsr
Tenzinsr, male, Tibetan, born in 1945, serves as Director of the
Modern Research Institute of China Tibetology Research Center. He
once served as Deputy Director of the Editorial Department of Tibet
People's Publishing House, chief editor of the Tibetan Literature
and Art magazine (Tibetan edition) of Tibet Autonomous Region Federation
of Literary and Art Circles, chief editor of the Bang Jin Mei Za
magazine, chairman of the Tibetan Folk Literature and Art Association,
secretary-general and vice-chairman of Tibet Autonomous Region Federation
of Literary and Art Circles, director of China Tibetology Publishing
House and chief editor of the Chinese Tibetology magazine (Tibetan
edition). He was responsible for collecting and sorting out materials
for the Three Sets of the Chinese Folk Literature-Tibet volume.

Denzin Gyalek
Denzin Gyalek, male, Tibetan, born in 1955, native of Doilongdeqen
County, Tibet, now deputy director of the Tibet Branch of the Chinese
Buddhist Association, member of the Seventh Standing Committee of
the People's Political Consultative Conference of Tibet and member
of the Standing Committee of the All-China Youth Federation.

Tubden Tsewand
Tubden Tsewang, male, born in on May 10 1941, Tibetan, is the Living
Buddha of the Budu Monastery (Gelu sect) and other six monasteries.
He is the administrative vice-chairman of the Xigaze Buddhist Association,
standing member of the Tibet Branch of the Chinese Buddhist Association,
and member of the Stand Committee of the People's Political Consultative
Conference of the Tibet Autonomous Region.
