Tsering Dorje (Tibetan)

Member of the China Association of Fine Artists; Executive Vice-Chairman of the Tibet Association of Fine Artists; Member of the CPPCC Tibet committee.
Born in 1958 in Lhasa, Tsering Dorje was graduated from the Department of Dances and Fine Arts of the Shanghai Operas Institute, and furthered his study of oil painting in the Central Academy of Fine Arts. His works were shown in national exhibitions as well as in Japan, Sweden and Macao. His works include Religious Horns and Still Things, which have been collected by the Chinese Art Gallery; Crystal of Wisdom which won the Good Work Award from the China Exhibition of Ethnic Minority Fine Artist Works; Potala Palace which was shown in exhibitions in and outside China. In 1992, he was invited to hold individual painting show and conduct exchanges with counterparts in Sweden in 1992.
