Nyima Tsering (Tibetan)

Painchen Painter, an honorific title bestowed by the late 11th Panchen Erdeni;China's first class fine artist;
Researcher specialized in traditional Tibetan Buddhist painting with the China Tibetan Language Higher Institute of Buddhism; member of the China Association of Fine Arts; council member of the Association of the Traditional Realistic Painting; executive council member of the China Council for the Promotion of the Ethnic Minority Fine Arts; vice-president of the CPPCC Sichuan Provincial Academy of Paintings and Calligraphy; member of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC Sichuan Committee; and member of the CPPCC National Council.
Born in 1994 in Batang, Sichuan Province, Nyima Tsering was graduated from the Sichuan Institute of Fine Arts in 1962. He held his painting shows in the United States, Britain, France, India, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, and Hong Kong. He also joined others in holding painting shows in Japan, Singapore, Algeria, France, Hong Kong and Taiwan. He has published Selected paintings by Painchen Master Painter Nyima Tsering, Nyima Tsering, and Stories of Tibetan Buddhism.
