Dekyi Yangjin (Tibetan)

Member of Sichuan Provincial Association of Fine Artists.
Dekyi Yangjin, female, born in 1971, was graduated from the Department of Fine Arts of the Sichuan Provincial Tibetan School in 1990. She worked for the Mass Art Hall of the Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province between 1990 and 1997. In 1998 she turned to work for the Mass Art Hall of Sichuan Province, plunging into the creation of traditional Tibetan paintings. Also in 1998 she studied in the Senior Class of Gongbi (traditional Chinese realistic painting characterized by fine brushwork ad close attention to details) sponsored by the Central Institute of Fine Art.
Many of his works are award winners. they include Sakyamuni which was collected by the China Art Gallery in Beijing; Wind-Like Soul; Purity; Childhood Dream; Blessings Atop the Mountain and Padmasambhava which were shown at the Tibetan Painting Show in Garze; Beautiful Shanba la which won the First-Grade Award at the 3rd Sichuan Mass Art Hall Fine Art Works Show and was exhibited at the Garze Outstanding Tibetan Painting Show during the 5th China Art Festival; Wind-Like Soul whicdh won the White Flower Award at the Fine Arts Show held by the Development of Fine Arts of National Minorities and won a Bronze Award; and Impact of Force and Purity which won the Outstanding Work Award at the Garze Tibetan Painting Show during the 5th China Art Festival.
