As the ambassador of the People's Republic of China to New Zealand, I am honored and pleased to extend my warm congratulations on the opening of the China Tibetan Culture Week in Auckland.

This colorful and exciting cultural event features photo and art exhibition, film show and dance performances. It offers an excellent opportunity for you to enjoy the unique and fascinating cultural heritage of Tibet, a part of China that is renowned as the roof of the world, and to learn more about the vitality and progress Tibet has experienced in the past half century.

I am confident that this event, by bringing the enchanting Tibetan culture closer to general public of New Zealand, will further enhance the friendship and understanding between the peoples of our two countries.
